Some people love January because they welcome the lull that follows the hectic holiday season. Others dislike the effort it takes to start again, whether that means going back to work, going back to school, or simply starting a new calendar year. January comes around every year like a train on schedule, whether it makes us sigh with relief or get revved up for a fresh start!
Fresh starts often come with goals or resolutions…hence the age-old ‘New Years Resolutions’, which can often feel pointless…unless you keep them bite-size and realistic! And let’s all be honest, we are all dealing with far too much at the moment to even consider taking on much more.
So, why not try this activity for 2022 …
- Write out some monthly resolutions. Use our suggestions below or come up with your own!
- Cut them out, fold them up and put them in a jar
- Pull one out each month and choose your action for the month!
It’s a bit like a lucky dip for a monthly goal or resolution to remind yourself on how to set healthy and attainable goals.
