This is Dail Bond, now our Care Manager at Toowoomba – but originally, Dail was just looking for casual work while travelling around Australia with her husband!
Dail originally applied for casual work as a Registered Nurse with Infinite Care. She recalls feeling halfway through her online interview that Infinite was where she wanted to be, and recruitment saw such potential in Dail that they asked her is she would perhaps be interested in applying for the Care Coordinator role instead! Dail had fallen in love with Toowoomba already and she quite liked the idea of a more permanent role she could really ‘sink her teeth into’, so she agreed to take on the permanent CC role instead.
Dail said she was just “doing her thing” in the new role, and really felt like she was taking off quickly in her career with Infinite. The Care Manager role, at that time, was filled with an external aged care consultant, who in January 2021, was preparing to move on. Recruitment had been occurring in the background for some time, but Dail was asked to apply and the rest, they say, is history!
Dail is now the permanent Care Manager at Mt Lofty. She says she loves being part of the Infinite team, and particularly enjoys working with the Mt Lofty Facility Manager, Lyn Polson, who is a strong leader already making a big difference at the facility.
