On her day of admission one of our nurses was showing Denise her room and while passing the dining area Denise heard a familiar voice…
She turned to the nurse and asked, “is that Olga’s voice”?
The nurse took Denise into the dining room, and low and behold – there was her childhood friend Olga, who Denise had not seen for over 40 years!!!
When Denise was young she used to walk to the shops – and Olga’s family owned the local grocery store. Olga and Denise had become friends but lost touch as life grew busier and their families grew… until now!
Now reunited they have had so much to catch up on and have rekindled a lovely, memory-based friendship that continues to grow strong like it was all those years ago.
Friends reunited!
