Elma is 103 years young and moved to Infinite Care Cornubia recently to access more care, and to live closer to her son and daughter in law.
She was born in Wagga Wagga, NSW on July 31st 1918 and grew up in Albury before marrying Ray McClellan, and moving to the Melbourne area. During the war years they returned to Albury and Ray was in the Air Force. They had three sons.
In Elma’s later years, she and Ray moved to the Gold Coast to be closer to family. They have five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
After Ray passed away from illness Elma moved into residential care where she stayed for 12 years and had many friends. Elma loves to talk to people and is looking forward to meeting the other ladies at Cornubia.
Although nearly 103 she is still active and is a firm believer that you must keep moving!
