My favourite part about working at our facility, is making the residents days, giving lots of hugs and seeing my friendly co-workers.

I’ve been a carer, Assistant in Nursing, Personal Care Assistant, Registered Nurse, Director of Nursing, Clinical Care Support Specialist and now Clinical Manager. I have been in aged care for over 14 years and this is where my passion lies.

I always wanted to make a difference, have meaning in my life and show my children to be kind. That is what led me to aged care and I found my passion and my calling. I don’t think I will ever leave. Making a difference to someones day, bringing happiness and love to the residents – especially in these uncertain times of the pandemic – is what I love about working in aged care. It is an honour and privilege.

In 2018 Cici began working in aged care as an RN. She loved it and grew to understand the purpose and importance of aged care, and never left the field. Cici’s favourite thing about being in aged care is being able to make and see the changes for the better by implementing long term goals.

I’ve been working in aged care for a year and I love my role as a personal care worker. I enjoy being with the seniors, as I feel that supporting them is extremely rewarding. Knowing I have the power to light up their day is so satisfying.
