Paul Croucher: Runnings for Alzheimer's Research

At Infinite Tweed, we’re proud to have dedicated team members who go above and beyond. One such hero is Paul Croucher, an Enrolled Nurse who’s training for the GC50 half marathon this November. Paul isn’t just running for the challenge; he’s running to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s research.

A Personal Journey

For Paul, this race is deeply personal. “My grandfather had Alzheimer’s and passed away when I was young,” he shares. “I didn’t fully understand what was happening back then. I never got to know the man he was before the disease took over. That’s why I’m so passionate about raising awareness now.”

Alzheimer’s affects 1 in 10 Australians over 65, and the number is expected to rise significantly in the coming years. “By 2050, around half a million Australians will live with Alzheimer’s,” Paul points out. “That’s why it’s critical to invest in research and support for this disease—today.”

Why You Should Join the Movement

Paul has an encouraging message for anyone thinking about taking on a similar challenge: “Do it! Running is so rewarding, especially when you’re doing it for a cause you believe in. It’s not just about getting fit; it’s about making a real difference.”

As he trains for the half marathon, Paul hopes to inspire others to take action. “I dream of a future where we can catch Alzheimer’s earlier and slow its progression through research breakthroughs.”

Support Paul and the Fight Against Alzheimer’s

We’re incredibly proud of Paul for dedicating his time and energy to such an important cause. If you want to join the movement or learn more about how you can contribute to Alzheimer’s research, now is the time!
