“The staff arranged for those of us that consider ourselves Roman Catholics to watch a documentary about the life of recently departed Pope Francis. This is quite an emotional time for most of us, and I really appreciate having the opportunity to devote some time to thinking about Pope Francis while surrounded with likeminded people. It is wonderful that we get to celebrate all the different occasions that mean so much to us and that the staff are observant enough to see when additional services would be appreciated.”

“We had a group of children visit from the nearby kindergarten for a book reading. It was great seeing the children engaged in the book and also chat with them after the reading. I am so grateful that we are being cared for here. I always look forward to the activities the staff plan for us here, but there’s something special about being in the presence of children. Their kindergarten is close to our home, so we always wave to them when we go on walks, and we even visited them over there. They are a joy to be around.”

“It was such a lovely surprise to be catered for with a waffle, ice cream and maple syrup for a ladies afternoon tea 26/03. I have not had such a waffle!  Thank you to our wonderful Lifestyle staff.  The best thing about living here at Mt Lofty is the atmosphere and how reassuring it is to be treated so well. I moved into Mt Lofty to recuperate when I was unwell for a short time, I loved it that much that I decided to stay. I have no regrets with the move and happy with my decision.”
