Southhaven offers a comfortable environment for residents with single and companion bedrooms featuring inspired soft furnishings and a calming and welcoming colour scheme. Great care has been taken to ensure that each room feels warm and comfortable and meets all the requirements of a modern aged care facility within a friendly, relaxed and homely atmosphere.

Common sitting areas are bright, friendly and well equipped with comfortable seating options, LCD TV screens and Foxtel.

Southhaven provides short and long stay options for those requiring respite care and a calming and peaceful area for palliative care.

Southhaven offers several spacious private single bedrooms boasting large windows overlooking gardens and lawn area.

The home features a well-stocked and mobile library, and an extensive schedule of activities and bus trips which are coordinated by our Lifestyle and Wellbeing team every day. With a full range of exercise classes, music, singing, concerts, cultural days and happy hour, our team work hard to ensure residents’ days are pleasurable. If there is something that interests you that isn’t in the program, the team will do their best to create it for you – we’re all about making sure your needs are met in your home.

With expansive private and secure landscaped grounds, Southhaven also features several outdoor entertaining options including a BBQ area for social interactions for friends and family, and several private corners of the garden where residents can spend time alone to connect with nature.  The beautiful gardens feature walkways designed around hedges, a pergola and raised garden beds for the green of thumb.

With a hairdressing salon on-site you can always look and feel your best. Wi-fi access is available throughout the home and we offer a range of additional technology services and options to suit all levels of technology and communication requirements.

We have a dedicated housekeeping team to take care of all your linen and personal clothing requirements. With this on-site service you can be assured that all your laundry needs are taken care of.

Our Chef-led kitchen team freshly prepare all meals on site and work to ensure that specific dietary requirements are considered (in consultation with a dietitian). The meals and seasonal menus are crafted on good home style cooking, to cater for your tastes and needs.

Our hard-working team of nursing and care staff are committed to providing a high level of clinical care to Southhaven residents. They are supported by an extensive team of Padstow Heights Allied Health professionals that can meet the needs of a full range of care requirements.
