Careers Frequently Asked Questions
Applying for a role
How do I apply for a role at Infinite Care?
All applications must be submitted online via the Infinite Care careers page. Simply select your preferred location and role, upload your current resumé, and complete the application form.
If your role requires qualifications or licences, you will be prompted to upload these during the application process.
How do I share my work availability?
Infinite Care operates 24 /7, offering flexible AM, PM and night shifts across our homes. When applying, please clearly indicate your availability and ensure it’s something you can commit to for at least the initial 6 months without changing, aligning with your personal, family and/or student routines.
Can I apply for roles at multiple locations?
Yes. You are welcome to apply for roles at any of our homes across QLD, NSW, SA and VIC. We recommend selecting locations within a reasonable commuting distance and accessible for your availability.
How long does the recruitment process take?
We aim to review applications within 3 – 5 business days. If shortlisted, you will progress to further screening to check suitability to the role you have applied, which may include an interview with the Care Home General Manager. Successful candidates then complete pre-employment checks, with most recruitment processes completed within 30 days.
Qualifications & compliance
What qualifications do I need?
Registered Nurses (RN) and Enrolled Nurses (EN) must hold current AHPRA registration aligned with their qualification transcript.
Personal Care Workers (PCW) or Assistants in Nursing (AIN) typically require a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or relevant for the aged care industry.
Chef Managers must hold a Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery.
We also welcome applications from students completing relevant work placements, with complimentary placement evidence and qualification certifications.
What background checks are required?
To work with us you will need:
- Evidence of Australian working rights
- No current aged care banning orders
- Qualifications for nursing, chef managers and personal carer roles
- A valid NDIS worker screening check (or willingness to obtain one)
- A signed statutory declaration given in the recruitment process
- Meet workplace safety and mobility thresholds
For some Corporate Support Centre roles, a national police check (issued within the last 6 months) and qualification transcripts may be required.
All requirements are clearly outlined in each job advertisement.
What are the immunisation requirements?
In line with government health instructions, workers in aged care are encouraged to take precautions to minimise infection risks, including influenza and COVID–19. If you have relevant immunisation records, you’ll be asked to upload them during pre-employment checks.
