At Infinite Care, these roles may be advertised as Personal Care Worker (PCW), Assistant in Nursing (AIN) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) depending on the state and care home.
You will deliver respectful, resident-centred care and work closely with nurses and the wider team to follow care plans and respond to changing needs – supporting residents to live with dignity, comfort and choice, every day.
What you will do in a personal care role at Infinite Care
In this role, you will:
- Deliver safe, high-quality, resident-centred care that respects individual preferences and routines
- Assist with personal care tasks such as showering, dressing, grooming and toileting
- Support residents with mobility and safe manual handling
- Assist at mealtimes and support hydration and nutrition in line with care plans
- Observe, document and report changes in resident wellbeing during handovers
- Support resident comfort, choice and independence in everyday life
What you will need for a personal care role
- A genuine commitment to resident-centred aged care and respectful support
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent (role requirements may vary by location)
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach
- Confidence working shift-based rosters
- Reliability and attention to detail
- Able to meet company and industry compliance requirements
