A day in the life of the resident engagement & wellbeing team

Our teams run engaging programs that support independence, confidence and quality of life. Activities vary by home and resident preference and may include:

  • Mind and body: Exercise, chair-based movement, relaxation, meditation and gentle therapies
  • Social connection: High teas, group activities, trivia and celebrations
  • Outings and experiences: Scenic drives, local outings and community connections
  • Creative expression: Music, sing-alongs, performances, arts and craft
  • Self-care and comfort: Pet therapy, pamper sessions and quiet time

These experiences help reduce loneliness, build confidence and support a sense of belonging.

What you will need for aresident engagement & wellbeing role

  • Relevant qualification: Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing), Certificate IV in Leisure and Health, or Diploma of Lifestyle and Leisure
  • Experience in aged care lifestyle/wellbeing, or a strong interest in this pathway
  • A warm, resident-first approach
  • Creativity and energy to plan and lead engaging activities
  • Strong organisation to manage calendars, events and schedules
  • Able to meet company and industry compliance requirements
